Who we are

Rental Solutions supplies, services and finances office technology, including printers, telecommunications, IT support, CCTV and solar, from Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth), Eastern Cape, South Africa. For this policy, we are the responsible party for the personal information you share with us.

What information do we collect?

• Details you give us when you phone or email us, ask for a quote or become a client: your name, company, phone number, email address and the equipment or services you are interested in.
• Information needed for rental or finance agreements, such as company registration and billing details, when you choose to go ahead with an agreement.
• Basic technical data our hosting provider records automatically when you visit this website, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. We use it only to keep the site secure and working.

This website has no sign-up forms and does not use advertising or analytics cookies. See Cookies and browser storage below for the little we do store.

How do we use your information?

• To answer your enquiry and prepare quotes.
• To set up, manage and service rental, finance and support agreements.
• To provide technical support, maintenance and account communication.
• To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.

We do not sell your personal information.

Who do we share it with?

We share personal information only where needed to deliver what you asked for: for example with equipment suppliers, installation partners, or finance providers that assess and fund a rental or finance agreement you apply for. They may only use it for that purpose. We also disclose information where the law requires it.

Cookies and browser storage

We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. We use only the following, and you can change your choice at any time with Cookie settings in the footer:

• Essential (always on): your light or dark theme preference and your cookie choice, stored in your own browser. This information never reaches us.
• Maps and embedded content (optional): the Google Map in our footer loads only if you allow it. When it loads, Google may receive your IP address and set its own cookies under the Google Privacy Policy (opens in a new tab).

How long do we keep it?

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as long as the law requires, for example for tax records. After that we delete or anonymise it.

How do we protect it?

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access, and this website is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection.

What are your rights?

Under POPIA you may ask us to:

• confirm whether we hold personal information about you, and give you a copy;
• correct or update information that is wrong or out of date;
• delete information we no longer have a lawful reason to keep;
• stop using your information for direct marketing.
